On Monday, River Valley Group proudly hosted a vibrant cancer awareness cocktail event at its Gweru head office through its charitable foundation, S & M Hand of Compassion.

This inspiring initiative aimed to empower women with essential knowledge about breast and cervical cancer as part of the ongoing Pink October campaign.

The event provided an invaluable opportunity to share crucial information on cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options. Esteemed health professionals, including Acting District Medical Officer Dr. Kudzanai Guveya and RGN Concepter Nhahuye, led the discussions and offered impactful insights into breast and cervical cancer. After their presentations, an engaged question-and-answer session encouraged attendees to voice concerns and share personal journeys, fostering a warm, supportive atmosphere.
