The presidential candidate for Bethel Christian Party, Dr Willard Mugadza, said if elected into office, the country will receive the healing it needs since people have been divided along political affiliations that are impeding development.
Dr Mugadza said that his party is calling on all Christians all over the country to rise and vote for him in the upcoming elections set for July 30th.
“Our mandate as a Christian party is to be able to influence government issues based on biblical principles. The country is highly divided we have got Christians in ZANU-PF, MDC and other political parties and there are also Christians who are not affiliated to any party and God told us that as BCP we must bring all Christians together under one banner so that we move the country forward. Even if you are not a Christian but can identify with our principles you can vote for us,” he explained.
Dr Mugadza said that BCP will stand against corruption as they will introduce a new system where everyone who wants to do business on any level with government or municipality has to get a corruption clearance certificate.
“People between 18 and 40 years under our government will get a free company with all the relevant paperwork, a free bank account so that they can participate in the awarding of government contracts on provincial and local government level. We will also offer free passports in addition and two free driving lessons at Vehicle Inspection Department,” he added.
He highlighted that the party will hold prayer rallies as a campaigning strategy.
