ZANU PF Youth Applauds President’s empowerment drive

ZANU PF Youth League has expressed its gratitude to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for championing a wide range of youth empowerment initiatives across the country.

This came as ZANU PF Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs, Cde John Paradza, met with the party’s Mashonaland West provincial executive in Chinhoyi to review the progress of ongoing youth empowerment programmes in the province.

The meeting focused on evaluating the impact and enhancing the implementation to ensure young people fully benefit from the government’s development agenda.

“As the Youth League, our mandate is to ensure that young people are fully empowered through access to land, machinery, housing and business opportunities. We want every youth to be an active participant in building the Zimbabwe we all envision under Vision 2030,” Cde Paradza said.

Cde Paradza reaffirmed the Youth League’s readiness ahead of the ruling party’s National People’s Conference to be held in Mutare this month, pledging that the organ will continue championing the empowerment of young people in line with Vision 2030.

“We are fully prepared for the National People’s Conference set for Mutare.
As the Youth League, we stand firmly behind the resolutions of our party, particularly Resolution 1 for President Mnangagwa’s term to be extended until 2030. It speaks to advancing inclusive economic empowerment for the youth and safeguarding the gains of the Second Republic,” he said.

Members of the ZANU PF Mashonaland West Provincial Youth Executive expressed gratitude to the Second Republic for implementing an inclusive development and empowerment agenda that has placed young people at the center of national progress.
