The “Better Days EP” launch event promises to be a spectacular showcase of artistic expression, featuring a diverse array of talented entertainers from the Midlands region.
When asked about the motive behind the extended playlist Xiddo was quick to respond, “It is because of the series of events that have been happening in my life l have a strong belief that better days are upon me” he said.
As Xiddo Chikandamina prepares to unveil his most personal and introspective work to date, the anticipation is palpable.
“Better Days EP” is poised to be a sonic masterpiece, replete with themes of hope, resilience, and self-empowerment.
The countdown to “Better Days EP” is highly manifesting as the Chikandamina crew revealed the eight-track list.
“Better Days Ep” drops with two collaborations from Midlands entertainment maestro Mr Zuva and Ozzy.
All tracks were recorded and mastered by Dj Flames from Music Hub studios.
With its release, Xiddo Chikandamina is set to cement his status as a vanguard of Afro-Dancehall innovation, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry.
Meanwhile,Renowned local dance group, Imvimbi has taken the stage by storm with a new and electrifying performance, the Umnzanzi traditional dance which is popular in South Africa.
“It’s a Zulu type of a dance which was performed before a war to motivate the warriors or after a war to celebrate victory. Currently, we are still fine tuning our performance and our target is to introduce it next year during Chibuku NeShamwari competitions. We started rehearsals early this year and we are still perfecting our act,” said Imvimbi Traditional Dance Group Director, Blessed Chakomoka.
