A vibrant Zvishavane based gospel singer and YA FM presenter Admire Nago (pictured) has released a five track Digital Video Disc “D.V.D” only a month after scooping second position prize for duo Radio Zimbabwe and Coca-Cola award ceremony 2018 top 50.
The DVD which was launched recently carries a collection of five videos which are ‘Nhovo’ the title track for 2018 album, ‘Wandigadza’ the much touted track which took second prize on radio Zimbabwe, Hosanna which was on number 8 and two songs from 2017 album with the title ‘Mirira’ and ‘Bhuku ra Isaya’.
Admire Nago says he is grateful for the unwavering support that he is receiving in the Midlands and beyond as this has connected him as an upcoming gospel artist to other stakeholders in the music industry.
“The videos are already on the market and Nhovo is doing so well on ZTV music shows which are a great opportunity to me as a musician, I hope that people will enjoy this DVD,” said Nago.
Nago told The Sun Buzz that, pillars making up his motivation and imagination to compose are his family, Producer Olin Anderson and the support accustoming from fans.
“I want to thank God for everything, I saw the hand of God in all the music projects that l have done whilst working with my team and Kunashe Studio in Mutare since 2016 when I started my singing career. I now have two albums and four single tracks,” says Nago.
The young artist has worked in a number of musical projects with gospel heavy weights like Pastor Charles Charamba, Olivia Charamba, Pastor Olinda Marowa Ziwenga, Dorcas Moyo, Blessing Shumba and Gamuchirai Magadzire.
‘Wandigadza’ track has received strong support nation-wide and has facilitated and enlarged Nago’s popularity as a young artist.
“I like the song it gives me hope during trying times and it has moral teachings that we should turn to the Lord our God when approaching difficult situations in life and it also helped me in my marriage after I lost my first child,” says Memory Jakarasi.
