Justice has been served on the horrendous event of the cold blooded murder of Emmanuel Dzvuke in Silobela which occured on 1 January at Cross boarder business centre.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (Z R P) confirmed the arrest of the deadly duo Emmanuel Ncube (25) and Thulani Sibanda (26) of village Abifoil, under Chief Malisa in connection with the murder of Dzvuke.

Allegedly, on 31 January 2023 around 2100hours, Emmanuel Dzvuke was drinking beer with the two suspects inside the Highway bar in Silobela when the misunderstanding arose.

Provincial Community Relations Liaison Officer Inspector Mahoko said the two suspects started assaulting Dzvuke using bricks all over the body.

“They stabbed him on the forehead and on the right ear with a broken beer bottle. After committing the offence they ran away from the scene” said Inspector Mahoko.

Dzvuke’s cross over into the new year was a horrible sight, his lifeless body was found naked on the ground at 0600hours by a passer-by 100metres away from Jongwe building.

Zimbabwe Republic Police in Silobela attended the crime scene. Two blood stained bricks and a broken beer bottle were recovered on the spot.

The two culprits were living in cowardice hiding away from the operations of police.

Thumbs up to the ZRP investigation team as they managed to trace and arrest the two notorious murderers.

“We are appealing to the general public to respect and value the sanctity of human life and always try to solve their disputes without resorting to violence” pleaded Inspector Mahoko.#TheSun
