Redcliff has been relying on Kwekwe City Council for water supply but faced constant water cuts over unpaid bills.
“So far we are at a feasibility study stage,’ said Masiyatsva.
‘We are having our feasibility study report and the office of the town clerk is working on engaging partners so that in 2021 we start being a water authority as we embark on building a water treatment plant in Redcliff and be able to supply water to our residents.

Apart from the precious liquid being a needy most cities are facing additional challenges due to limited conveyance, pumping and treatment capacities with the story being different for Redcliff town council which has vowed to become a water authority by next year.
Redcliff owes Kwekwe municipal $18million for water services and supply.
