The FC Platinum U19 captain Marvelous Chigumira AKA Vhodza (20) has seen his vision in the top flight football outside the country as Mosalah is the one who inspires him.
”At the moment I have decided to play football, I have always seen myself playing topflight football in overseas to become one of the world class footballers to raise my country flag high,”said Chigumira.
Chigumira was born in Gweru on the 19 th of June 1997 and did his Primary education at Chikumbiro before proceeding to Chaplin high and Guinea Fowl for secondary.
He started his career in 2006 where he played for Clampray Gunners junior league.
In 2007 to 2009 he joined FC GIO junior league, 2010 -2013 the player joined Bristol City junior league.
In 2015- 2016 he joined Gweru united D1 before going to the Platinum miners in 2017.
In 2012 FC captain had a chance to join the U17 provisional squard and also the Zimbambwe national youth games U20 in 2014.
Chigumira became the captain for FC Platinum U19 after the team recognized his experience interms of good commanding and playing very well for the team.
However Chigumira said his uncles also played a pivotal role in his football in shaping his football career as they once played for Gweru clubs which include BOC gases club and Zim Alloys club.
”My uncles Petmore, Terence and Admire (Chigumiras) inspired me because I used to watch them playing soccer, even if the match was away they could make an effort to take me there, this is when I began to love soccer,” said Chigumira.
