In a shocking turn of events, Madzibaba Learnmore of Domboremhikidzano Apostolic Church in Gweru, who participated in the Prophet Makandiwa’s USD1 million bet, claimed the process was rigged in his favor.
The church’s prophet Jameson Mutambudzi popularly known as Madzibaba Learnmore of the “back to sender fame” stormed The Sun newsroom to express his disappointment with the way the process was handled by Makandiwa’s officials.
“I entered into the Makandiwa’s 1 million dollar prophetic challenge at UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza on Sunday 9 March 2025 on the understanding that I was going to prophese what was in his pockets not what was in a trouser on a hanger.
My powers only allow me to see what’s on a human body, a person and the church was full of spiritual forces which I referred to as “Magetsi”, said Madzibaba Learnmore.
Makandiwa had initially announced that 700 supernatural applicants had responded to his challenge, which promised a $1 million reward to anyone who could correctly reveal what he would have in his pocket.
“The rules of the game were changed at the last minute and that resulted in me failing to detect what was in a trousers pocket. I will soon be inviting him (Makandiwa) to come to the natural venue, like a stadium and I will prove to the world my spiritual powers,” said Madzibaba.
He said there was too much ‘Magetsi’ at the Basilica which led him to fail to see what was in the trousers pocket.
“I cannot describe “Magetsi” I referred to because only those who can speak in tongues can understand what I am trying to say here. This “Magetsi” is something not vivid to the ordinary and can only be witnessed or explained by those in spirit.
“The Holy Spirit does not allow me to write what I would have seen in the spiritual realm but it allows me to just say what I will be seeing differently,” he added.
Madzibaba Learnmore has since invited Prophet Makandiwa to come to Gweru, his home ground, and re-do the challenge where there are no “Magetsi” and will prove his powers.
None of the contestants who participated in the prophetic challenge managed to guess what was in the trousers.
