A 31-year-old Kwekwe man and social media personality, Mama Bless, born Rangarirai Blessing Mutangi, has been apprehended by the
Zimbabwe Republic Police for allegedly committing aggravated indecent assault against a minor in a series of incidents dating back to December 2024.
Mutangi allegedly summoned the 10-year-old complainant, whose identity is being withheld for ethical reasons, to his room and gave him his phone to watch pornographic material on a random night in December 2024.
He then forced himself on the complainant and had anal sex with him.
The abuse allegedly persisted until April 3, 2026, when the matter came to light.
Angered by the accused’s refusal to lend him a bicycle pump, the complainant finally disclosed the ordeal.
In a press statement, ZRP issued a warning to unsuspecting guardians to desist from entrusting their kids to strangers.
“We are urging the general public to desist from trusting strangers, as it endangers children’s lives.”
The arrest of Mutangi has exposed a disturbing double life.
The claims involving a 10-year-old boy have led many to question whether the digital facade was used to mask his behavior.
