Jah Prayzah to date Gweru

Zmbabwe’s own high riding contemporary musician Mukudzei Mukombe
popularly known as Jah Prayzah is set to wow his fans at the much
awaited “Official College Welcome Back” gig to be held at the Midlands
Hotel on Friday 14 September.

The popular music guru will perform alongside Gweru dancehall
heavyweights Legion, DJ Blesh and many more.

The show is aimed at welcoming back Midlands State University (MSU)
and Gweru Polytechnic students from their vacation.

Speaking to Jah Prayzah’s manager Keen Mushapaidze said they have been
looking forward for a show in Gweru with Jah Prayzah`s College fans.
“We are coming to Gweru for what we have themed, ‘Official College
Welcome Back’. It`s been a while since we had a show with both the
Gweru fans and university students. We are happy about this event and
promise to deliver the best, Jah Prayzah has been looking forward to
this show in the longest time and we are happy the time is now,” he

‘Musoja’ as popularly referred to by his fans had many shows in Gweru
and sets to come back just two weeks after his thirty minutes
performance at the Midlands Agricultural Show which left fans with the
thirst for more complaining about poor sound quality resulting in fans
questioning whose fault it was.

Mushapaidze added that there are new stage works they plan to showcase
and have brought in a professional stage and sound company to ensure
the fans get the best value from this show.

The “Mudhara Wemangoma” hitmaker “Legion’ is expected to take the
stage in his hometown alongside DJ Kaysh and DJ Blesh who will be
taking turns on the decks.

Legion recently launched an album titled “Nobody can stop reggae”
which he will perform live for the first time since its launch and
believes the show is going to be a blast.

“I will be performing songs on my new album and it`s been a while
since my last performance in Gweru ,” said Legion

Other artists set to grace the show include Judah B, Mad P, Smuggler
and Pied Piper.
