Hon Mpasi commends investors in Shurugwi

By Richard shumba

Member of Parliament for Shurugwi North Hon Joseph Mpasi, has expressed his gratitude towards investors who have significantly contributed to the rehabilitation of infrastructure and the enhancement of livelihoods in the region.

Speaking recently Mpasi acknowledged the pivotal role that these investors have played in transforming the mining town of Shurugwi.

He emphasized that road infrastructure improvements have facilitated smoother transportation and connectivity and catalyzed economic activities, making everyday life easier for residents.

Shurugwi, historically known for its rich mineral resources, has faced various challenges, including deteriorating infrastructure and limited economic opportunities.

However, recent investments in the region have sparked a resurgence.

The improved roads have enabled better access to markets and services, fostering a more conducive environment for both business and community activities.

The legislator also highlighted other contributions made by investors, including social initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, education, and community welfare.

These efforts, Mpasi noted, demonstrate a holistic approach to development that goes beyond mere profit-making.
