Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon Owen Ncube, has applauded River Valley Proprieties for complimenting the Government efforts when it comes to catering for the less privileged members in our communities.
In a speech read on his behalf by the Gweru District Development Coordinator (DDC) Mr Tarisai Mudadigwa, at the River Valley Group of Companies/S &M Hand of Compassion, End of year Corporate Social Responsibility Day, said the business communities and development partners should not compete with the government efforts but should compliment its efforts.
“In that regard we want to thank River Valley Group of companies for complimenting the government efforts when it comes to catering for the less privileged people in our communities.
The business community should always remember to give back to the people, as without communities’ support, businesses cannot thrive.
“In line with the government’s National Development Strategy (NDS1) vision, the President Emmerson Mnangagwa always says the country’ direction is we must all move to together, no one or place should be left behind,” said Hon Ncube.
He thanked River Valley for hoarding His Excellency’s call, that as we move, lets move together as a team without forgetting the less priveliged.
“I want to also challenge our development partners, that is the government’s vision that we should utilize our local resources when it comes to assisting each without looking at foreign donors for support.
Today we are witnessing one of our own, starting from Gweru here giving back to our communities, we want to thank RVP for the support,” said Hon Ncube.#Supplement To The Sun
