Preparations for the 2024 Gweru Golf Business League tournament which is expected to take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Gweru golf course have reached an advanced stage.
The much-anticipated event which will be sponsored by Zulu Lithium will witness more than 30 clubs battling it out for tournament prizes for both the team and individual categories which will be up for grabs at the tournament.
Part of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to charity.The hosting authority Gweru Golf Tournament Vice Captain Upenyu Kudzai Dube said everything was on course as preparations are going well so far.
“Our team is dedicated, and everything is going well, we expect a huge turnout and the sponsors have come in with prizes and are also happy with the tournament itself,” he said.
Dube also reiterated that this was also an opportunity for organizations to visibly market their products through networking.
“We are ecstatic about the event this is an opportunity for businesses to amplify and market their products whilst promoting peace and love as well as harmony through inviting all business persons thereby pouching back into the community as people get to network,” he said.
Expected teams to participate include Trochal , Mufaro Mobiles, Dultrut Roofing, Central Real Estate, Trevor Dollar Real Estate, and Central Pharmacy just to mention a few. #TheSun
