Barely a few months after winning an international business award in the United Kingdom, Gweru-based businesswoman Ambassador Dr Smelly Dube was early this week honoured at a prestigious global stage when she received the Pan African Changemaker Award in Enterprising and Community Development in Zanzibar.
The multi-international business awards winner, Dr Amb Dube was invited to attend the 7th Pan African Humanitarian and Investment Summit in Zanzibar.
The summit is an annual event where influential business people and humanitarian organizations meet and share business success stories.
Dr Dube was also among the panelists nominated to speak and inspire fellow African businesswomen at the colorful high-level meeting.
The maverick businesswoman and philanthropist who has interests in private property development, earth moving, and mining said she was proud to continue flying the Zimbabwean flag high at international stages.
“It’s an honour and I am proud of these feats. But most importantly I thank God who is creating and opening all these opportunities for my family and business,” she said.
Dr Dube has been nominated for several international business awards some of which she has failed to attend due to other business commitments. She is now an international brand with many companies and organizations inviting her to give speeches. Advertorial to The Sun
