After captivating audiences with his energetic dance moves and inspiring sermons, the Dancing Preacher has taken his Ministry to the next level by releasing his first music album entitled, “Ndatenda Yahweh” which is a collection of uplifting and catchy tunes.
Prophet Dr Dough Mambure who is known as the Dancing Preacher is a Pastor at True Word Church International, also a lecturer at Women’s University of Africa, and a Director at Dream Net Mental Health Clinic.
Speaking to this reporter, the Dancing Preacher said that his latest album was inspired by real-life events.
“My latest album was inspired by real-life events and it also witnesses elevation in all aspects of life including the Ministry. Ndatenda Yahweh relates to my thanksgiving to the Almighty for elevating the Ministry and his servant. It also emphasizes more on expressing gratitude to God.”
He went on to explain how he started his Ministry.
“I have always been passionate about music and ministry since childhood. I started preaching at the age of 14 and I was ordained at 19 years under True World Church International where I was actively involved in music but only playing instruments.
“As I deepened my relationship with God, I then began preaching and teaching as I was serving under AFM in Zimbabwe but I then came back to True Word Church International where I am currently serving as the senior Pastor in Mkoba.
I intertwined music and ministry as a powerful tool to convey the message of hope and redemption.
Over time my music and ministry evolved and I am using both my gifts to preach and sing unto the Lord.
The Dancing Preacher went on to explain how he ended up being called the ‘Dancing Preacher.
“As a Pastor and Musician, I believe that worship should be an expression of joy and passion for the things of God especially when praising and reverencing God’s presence. It’s an unusual phenomenon with preachers as the altar is usually warmed by the praise and worship team but for me, it’s my engagement and involvement that builds the inner man to then bring out the message of God.
This then got me the name Dancing Preacher from the congregation and others have been inspired by my passion and enthusiasm and my service is also a vibe. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to God for the gift he gave to me and it’s an honor to save Him and his people at the same time.”
With his debut album now available, the Dancing Preacher is set to take the music industry by storm by inspiring and uplifting listeners around the world with his unique blend of faith, music and dance.
