Electricity is always in the air whenever Core Vybz a Gweru-based band takes the stage with their explosive sound which always leaves the crowd utterly astounded.
The six-member band’s soul-stirring melodies and rhythms touched the hearts of genre lovers cementing their position as a fast-growing band in the music circles last Friday at Downtown Oasis.
Speaking to this reporter Mr Bond Mususa who is the band manager expressed the band’s enthusiasm for sharing their music with a wider audience.
“We have fresh and young talent we are flexible to play at any event. Our goal is to make sure music reaches the people not just in Gweru but beyond.”
“Working hard to make our name known locally, nationally even in the entire world is one of our aims as a team. I feel blessed working with these young talents who love what they do.”
Core Vybz specializes in reggae and jazz genres reflecting cultural themes and social messages in their music. With their lively performances and relatable lyrics, Core Vybz engages with its audience on a deep level creating a connection that goes beyond just a mere entertainment.
Core Vybz band was established a few weeks ago and has already made waves in the music cycles. The band consists of 007 Bond Mususa who is the manager, Dj Vas Mushurugwi as the chairman, Blejah as the lead vocalist, Trymore Malila as the lead guitarist, Roxas as the drummer, Panashe Maburo and Adonija Bere as the keyboardist and Mavis.
