Breaking News…Claybank nurses test positive

The much awaited Covid-19 test results for 29 Claybank private
hospital nurses are out with three having tested positive, Hon Larry
Mavhima has just confirmed.

“29 staff members at Claybank hospital were tested with confirmed
positive results of only 3, who are now in self isolation at their
homes, the other 26 are negative,” said Minister of State for Midlands
Provincial Affairs Larry Mavima, who is also the chairperson of the
Midlands Provincial Covid-19 taskforce.

A patient was admitted at the institution suffering from Covid-19
unrelated aliment and was treated for a week before his results came
out positive forcing authorities to place the nurses on self-isolation
awaiting results.

After recording its first Covid-19 case on May 20 Midlands Province
has to date recorded 145 cases, 85 recoveries and 2 deaths.
