THE Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education says it is ready to conduct the June Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) examinations, confirming that all modalities have been completed.
The government also confirmed that everything is in place for schools opening next week on Tuesday, with the school feeding programme also set to continue.
This formed part of the debate during this Thursday’s Senate Question and Answer Session.
Senators also quizzed what the government is doing concerning errand drivers, amid concerns of an increase in road traffic accidents.
Other key issues debated in the session included the effectiveness of current tourism sector initiatives, issues to do with transmission in border communities and the development of the mining industry.
